MOT Garage & Car Repairs

  • Can I drop my car down any time?
We operate by appointment only, but please do contact us if you have experienced a vehicle breakdown and we will try to accommodate receipt of your vehicle on the same day wherever possible. It is not always possible we will be able to attend to repairs the same day. Sometimes even the most organised can find themselves caught short for a valid MOT, please phone to see if we can help.
  • What is your lead time?
For smaller tasks we can often accommodate you with just a few days notice, for larger jobs, it can take around a week during quieter periods. Busy times of year tend to be the three weeks prior to Easter or Christmas, the week before any bank holiday and both March and October are particularly busy for MOT testing. Quieter periods are April and August.
  • Will I get an unexpected bill?
No, all work requires authorisation. This does mean that we need a response from you in order to progress a repair. If we cannot gain authorisation, we may have to move to the next job and rebook your vehicle back in.
  • Do you offer discounts?
    We do not offer discounts.
  • Do you work for trade customers?
We are very lucky to work with some of our peers in the industry, we do not offer trade rates.
  • Can I bring my own parts?
No as we do not fit supplied parts
  • Will my car be kept inside?
Whilst your car is under repair, it will be kept inside the workshop overnight. If work has been completed and you are unable to collect the same day, it may have to wait outside, at your own risk, for collection.
  • Do you have a car park?
There is parking outside the workshop, it is available for use but no insurance or acceptance of liability is offered.
  • How can I pay
We can accept payments through our digital invoices using PayPal, or can accept most card payments when you collect your car. We do not accept cash or cheques.
  • Can you weld or restore my car?
Although we perform mechanical work on many cherished vehicles, we do not weld or restore them
  • Can you sponsor my cause?
We have sponsored Army Veteran Paratrooper Matt Roberts, founder of the Forces Drift Academy, for many years and have no plans to cease our support of him, nor contribute to any further causes or organisations at this time. https://www.thebritishdriftchampionship.co.uk/driver/matt-roberts/
  • How do you resolve complaints?
We would first like to talk to you in order to find a resolution, but we are accredited to both Chartered Institute of Trading Standards organisations the Motor Ombudsman and the Independent Garage Association's Trust My Garage - both also offer an independent dispute resolution service if you wish to progress your concern.
  • Are you hiring?
We do not advertise vacancies through our website, but would promote them, with information on how to apply, on our social media pages
